Before You Start
You need a Zappiq account and your embed script. Sign up here if you haven't already — the onboarding takes about 5 minutes. You also need a Wix Premium plan to use Custom Code — the free Wix plan doesn't support adding custom scripts.
Zappiq works with all Wix templates — business sites, service pages, portfolios, and online stores built with Wix Stores.
Step-by-Step Installation
Go to your Wix Dashboard
Log in to your Wix account at wix.com. From your site dashboard (not the editor), click on Settings in the left sidebar.
Open Custom Code
Scroll down to the Advanced section and click Custom Code. You'll see a page that shows any scripts already added to your site.
Add a new custom code snippet
Click + Add Custom Code in the top right. A panel will slide in from the right side.
Paste your Zappiq script
In the code box, paste your Zappiq embed script exactly as it appears in your dashboard.

Give the snippet a name like Zappiq. Under Add Code to Pages select All Pages. Under Place Code in select Body — End. This is important — placing it in the Head can cause delays.
Click Apply
Click the Apply button. The script is now added to your site. No need to republish — it takes effect immediately on your live site.
Verify It's Working
Open your Wix site in a new tab or incognito window. You should see the Zappiq chat widget appear in the corner within a few seconds. Click it to confirm it opens and responds.
If you don't see the widget, try a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac) to bypass any browser cache. Also make sure you're viewing your live site URL, not the Wix editor preview.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a paid Wix plan to use Zappiq?
Yes. Wix only allows Custom Code on paid (Premium) plans. The free Wix plan does not support adding external scripts. Any Wix Premium plan works — Business, Unlimited, or higher.
Will it work on Wix mobile sites?
Yes. Zappiq is fully responsive and works on all screen sizes including mobile. The widget adapts automatically to smaller screens.
Can I add it to specific pages only?
Yes. Instead of selecting All Pages in step 5, select Specific Pages and choose which pages you want the chatbot to appear on.
Does it work with Wix Stores?
Yes — including all store pages, product pages, and the cart. You can use Zappiq to qualify shoppers and capture leads from visitors who don't complete a purchase.
